eBay Lotton Glass Crystal Vase Purple Pink Floral Flowers 2001 American Studio Art Description and Item Information Up for sale is this gorgeous, heavy, vintage Lotton art glass vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This clear vase has internal, multicolored floral decoration (possibly hollyhocks), mostly in pink, purple, and green. The vase is approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of about 6 7/8 inches. Much of the piece is solid glass, with a somewhat shallow interior bowl area, so it is quite heavy, weighing 17 pounds 8.6 ounces, unpacked. This would be an impressive addition to a collection of American studio art glass. Identification This circa 2001 Lotton art glass vase is marked beneath, as shown. I’m not sure which artist created it, since the marking is difficult to read; it is guaranteed to be a Lotton piece, nonetheless. Lotton Art Glass Gallery and Studio is located in Crete, Illinois. During the 1970s, Charles Lotton began blowing glass, and other artists, including Lotton’s family members, have worked there over the decades. Condition The vase looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. A few very fine and light scratches to the sides do not detract.
